Why Lionel Messi is rumored to be interested in Inter Miami
Lionel Messi is rumored to be interested in a move to the MLS either this summer, or sometime in 2022. This would put Messi between the ages of 34 – 35 when that move could potentially occur. Even though Messi is still considered to be an elite player today, within the next 1 – 2 years it is expected that age will eventually tick in and he won’t be at the same form he is today.
His family, who is known to have close ties to David Beckham who is central to Inter Miami and also desires a move to Miami seems primed to consider Inter over the next couple of months – year.
While these rumors have begun to resurface again, only time will tell what Messi decides to do.
