Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry Claims The 2020-2021 NBA Scoring Title

Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is your NBA scoring champion for the 2020-2021 season.

Curry, who has won 2-MVP awards in his historic career, can add “second oldest” scoring champion to his resume, only trailing the GOAT Michael Jordan. With this latest scoring title, Curry joins an illustrious group of hall of famers who have won multiple scoring titles, MVPs and championships. Curry joins Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Michael Jordan in this club of legends.

“We’ve just been really scrappy,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said before Sunday’s game. “We’ve been playing some small lineups, but we’ve had phenomenal seasons from both Steph and Draymond [Green] that have given us our foundation.”

Curry’s previously best scoring season was 2015-2016 where he averaged 30.1 points per game. 2016 was also the year Curry was the first unanimous MVP in NBA history. At 33, it’s safe to say Steph Curry is still right in the heart of his prime, and his fans at Golden State seem to agree as they have chanted “MVP” all season long.

In an injury depleted season, the Warriors behind Curry’s historic play have managed a spot in the NBA play-in tournament.
